The centre for Nanotechnology Sciences (CNS) at Raiganj University is an inter-disciplinary research centre. The centre is established with an outlook to support research and development in the domain of nanotechnology and also provide a dais for collaborative research involving academia and industry. Currently many departments having interest in nanotechnology associate with the centre to promote its academic and research activities. Byengaging researchers and postgraduate students in its academic outreach programmes such as specialised elective courses, workshops, seminars and internship programmes we expect a new generation of innovators with multidisciplinary talents. Currently the centre has expertise in the synthesis of functional nanomaterials for application in the thrust areas.
