Creation of Information Hub & Reading Room etc:

Central Library has made Information Hub for the Students’ with 15 Computers and Teachers’ Reading Room-cum-Information Hub with 2 computers  along with internet facility.

Internet Facility:

The Central Library is now equipped with100 mbps ILL form BSNL for its users.

MoU Signed: AMoU was signed between INFLIBNET and Raiganj University by which our Central Library is now able to upload Theses in Shodhganga: a reservoir of Indian Theses and subscribe E- resources via E-Shodhsindhu: Consortium for Higher Education Electronic Resources.

Establishment of New Section: Central Library established a separate section namely “North Bengal with special emphasis on Dinajpur (Now: Uttar Dinajpur & Dakshin Dinajpur)” to encourage scholars for socio-scientific research on this area by providing Rare Books, Theses, Census Reports, Gazetteers, Rare Journals, Reference Books & Journals etc both in soft and hard copies.
